What makes Chère Maison candles unique?

Our candles are not just another jar with a label. Each candle is designed with both elegant (or whimsical) home decor and beautiful scents in mind. Each is hand-crafted and hand poured as well. Our Artist’s Collection is even hand-painted resulting in a one-of-a-kind tiny piece of art.

What type of wax and fragrance do you use?

We primarily use a soy blend with a miniscule amount of food-grade paraffin, but we also sometimes use coconut, apricot and bees wax depending on the product. Our goal is always to be as natural, clean burning and environmentally friendly as possible. We use all cotton wicks and clean fragrance (no phthalates).

How should I care for my candle?

Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each use, and allow the wax to melt evenly to the edges before extinguishing. Do not burn for more than four hours at a time, keep away from drafts, children and pets and never leave a burning candle unattended.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Orders ship within 1–2 business days and typically arrive within 3–5 business days via USPS or UPS.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, shipping is free on orders over $75. All other orders ship for a flat rate of $10 within the U.S.

How will I know when my order has shipped?

You’ll receive an email with tracking details once your order is on its way.

Returns & Refunds

Can I return or exchange my order?

We only accept returns for items that arrive damaged. Because each candle is handmade, slight variations are part of its charm and not considered defects.

How do I request a return for a damaged item?

Email customerservice@cheremaison.com within 10 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and photos of the damage for review.

Are final sale items eligible for return?

No, all items listed as final sale are not eligible for return or refund.
